The application for a work permit in the Netherlands starts with the TeV application: the request to enter and stay in this country. Depending on your employee’s country of origin, an entry visa (MVV) can also be necessary. Is someone transferring from a company outside the European Union to a branch located in the Netherlands? Then the Guideline for Intra Corporate Transfers (ICT) applies. To apply for TeV and MVV, you will need to be a sponsor at the IND.
It is safe to say that application for work visa is complicated. The process can also be highly time-consuming. This is because the IND strives to process applications within 4 to 6 weeks, but can take up to 3 months to do so.
